Dr. Katharine Halliday

Dr Katharine Halliday is the current President of The Royal College of Radiologists.


After completing her radiology training in London, Australia, Sheffield and Nottingham, Dr Halliday was appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Nottingham University Hospital in 1998. She has a special interest in the imaging of suspected physical abuse and provides expert opinions for cases throughout the UK. 


She was Chair of the British Society of Paediatric Radiology from 2010-2016 and chaired the working group for the updated guidance for imaging in cases of suspected physical abuse in children.


In September 2017, Dr Halliday was appointed National Clinical Lead for the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme for Radiology, and the Radiology GIRFT report was published in July 2020. Dr Halliday took over as Clinical Director for Radiology at Nottingham University Hospitals in January 2021.

Dr. Lia Ali

Dr. Lia Ali is a design thinker, doctor, and digital health strategist with extensive experience across healthcare, including industry, national policy, and frontline NHS work. Passionate about ethics, patient-centred care, mental health, and addressing health inequalities, she holds roles as a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at SLaM NHS FT and a Clinical Adviser at NHS England, contributing to digital health transformation, including the NHSApp leadership team. She co-founded a national initiative to promote design-led health solutions and was a finalist for the Digital Health Network's CCIO of the year. She has completed an MSc in Healthcare and Design and is also a mentor for emerging digital health professionals.

Dr. Videha Sharma

Dr. Videha Sharma is Clinical Innovation Lead at the University of Manchester and co-founder of Fava Health, a digital health start-up focussing on genomics and precision medicine.

 

A transplant surgeon by background he now works at the intersection of healthcare, design and technology. He leads a portfolio of project aimed at translating emerging innovation into real-world products and services to create impact patients and society – in particular, he specialises in building cross-disciplinary teams and create environments where expertise blend and new ideas flourish.
